Changelog

What's new in Enimara.

Every release. Every fix. Every "wait, that's been broken for a year?" moment, owned in writing. Reverse-chronological — newest at the top.

v2.4.0

May 22, 2026

"Deposit"

Live

Booking deposits, sharper sync, three small wins for salons.

A small deposit at booking is the difference between a packed Saturday and three empty chairs. We just shipped it. Plus the usual fistful of polish.

  • New

Booking deposits. Charge a per-service deposit at booking time. Set in Settings → Bookings → Deposits. Refund-on-reschedule and non-refundable-on-no-show rules both supported.

  • New

Customer-tier rules. Skip deposits for your top-50 customers — Enimara remembers them automatically based on spend over the last 90 days.

  • Improved

Sync is now ~40% faster on slow 2G connections. We re-wrote the diff algorithm and now send only changed fields, not full records.

  • Improved

POS keypad got bigger numbers (closer to ITU keypad ratios) for one-handed use.

  • Fixed

WhatsApp receipts occasionally arrived as .txt instead of formatted on certain Android variants. (Special thanks to Tunde A. in Balogun for the screenshot.)

  • Fixed

Refunds against a sale that included store credit could double-decrement balance. Hotfixed last week, now in main release.

v2.3.2

May 06, 2026

"Patch"

Patch release · keyboard, currency formatter, three sync edge cases.

  • Fixed

Soft keyboard could hide the "Save" button on smaller Android phones (≤ 5.5"). Now scrolls into view.

  • Fixed

Naira sign occasionally rendered as ? on iOS 15 when language was set to Hausa.

  • Improved

Conflict resolution when two staff edit a customer's notes offline now shows both edits side-by-side.

v2.3.0

Apr 22, 2026

"Polyglot"

Yoruba and Igbo, end-to-end. Plus a smaller, faster app shell.

Hausa shipped in v2.0. Today Yoruba and Igbo join — 700+ strings each, translated by Nigerian linguists rather than Google. Plus the install size dropped by 18%.

  • New

Yoruba and Igbo across the entire app. Settings → Language to switch. Layouts survive ~70% string expansion without breaking.

  • Improved

App shell is now 5.8 MB on first install (down from 7.1).

  • Improved

Receipt printer support for Epson TM-m30 (II) over Bluetooth.

  • Security

Bumped TLS minimum version to 1.3 on all client traffic. Anyone on iOS < 14 will need to upgrade their OS to keep syncing.

v2.2.0

Apr 02, 2026

"Compass"

Multi-place stock that actually matches reality.

The biggest release of the year so far. Multi-place inventory now respects the way Nigerian businesses actually move stock — between lock-ups, stalls, and second branches.

  • New

Inter-place transfers. Move stock between places in a tap. Each transfer is auditable and visible to staff at both ends.

  • New

Per-place low-stock alerts. Branch A can be low while Branch B is overstocked — we now tell you.

  • Improved

Stock count UI redesigned with bigger tap targets and a running-total ribbon.

v2.1.0

Mar 12, 2026

"Sidekick"

Profit reports, simplified. Plus the OPay beta opens.

  • New

Simplified P&L view on the home tab. Five numbers, full stop.

  • New

OPay business beta. Direct settlement to OPay merchant accounts. Currently 40+ pilots; expanding through Q3.

  • Fixed

Receipts could occasionally print two copies on ESC/POS 58mm models if the cash drawer was open.

v2.0.0

Feb 18, 2026

"Resurface"

A complete visual refresh. And Hausa goes live.

A year's worth of design polish landed in one release. New POS, new home dashboard, new finance hero card — and our first non-English language, Hausa.

  • New

Hausa shipped, end-to-end. Welcome to the millions of Northern Nigerian merchants.

  • Improved

New visual system across every screen. Navy + gold, Work Sans, Material Symbols.

  • Improved

Tab bar redesigned. Five tabs. Bottom-pinned with safe-area-inset support. Touch targets 48 px.
